Sunshine State books are selected for their wide appeal, literary value, varied genres, curriculum connections, and\/or multicultural representation. The Sunshine State Young Reader\u2019s Award Program is the primary reading program at SPMS and guides many school related reading activities and contests. Teachers often require students to read current or former SSYRA books as part of their curriculum.<\/p><p>Students will receive prizes for reading the current SSYRA books, listed\u00a0 below:<\/p><p
