Parental Choice Library Book Restriction Form
Parents may utilize this form to restrict titles their child may check out in the school library. Please complete the form and return it to your child's teacher or librarian. This form is only required when a parent is seeking to restrict access to materials in the media center.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Switzerland Point Media Center is to inspire a love of reading, foster critical thinking, and support lifelong learning. We aim to provide a welcoming space filled with diverse resources and innovative technology. We empower students to explore their interest, collaborate with peers, and develop essential skills for the future. We strive to create a community where every student feels valued and equipped to succeed.

Policies and Procedures

Students can check out up to 2 books at a time.
Regular books are due every 4 weeks.
SSYRA books are due every 2 weeks.
Students can renew books as many times as needed, as long as another student is not waiting for it.

The media center is open every day from 7:10am until 2:00pm.
Students can visit the media center in the morning, after school, during lunch, or from any class as long as they have a signed blue pass.
Each student also has the opportunity to visit the media center monthly with their ELA classes.
